You can stage a mystery party right in your home with your guests and friends just as you would any cocktail or dinner party. The party can be staged in one room or several. Make use of your living room, dinning room, kitchen, play room, patio, indoors or out. All you need is enough room to accommodate your guests as though you were having a cocktail party. Nothing special is needed.
You can plan a Murder by Mail mystery party around a dinner (sit down or buffet). Hint: Most popular food service is a buffet. Plan a party for a dinner or gourmet club. Work the food right into the theme of the party and you will add to the fantasy.
Remember we plan our events to include some type of food service be it a complete dinner or hors d'oeuvres, snacks, or desserts.
The mystery party will act as the framework for the evening. Food service or any other activity will take place within this framework and theme. It's all planned for within our design format.

Birthdays: Celebrate the birthday person's special day in style. We promise this will be the birthday they will never forget! Great for milestone birthdays. Best suggestion: Let the birthday person celebrate "in character." (That way they can always claim it wasn't him or her who got one year older.) And, be sure to decorate the birthday cake to say "Happy Birthday (fill in character name)."
Dinner clubs / gourmet clubs: Integrate the food with your theme for a truly memorable evening. We are sure our themes will spark some creative menus!
Halloween: What better way for adults to get dressed up on Halloween? None. We especially recommend our Victorian theme: Murder on Mulberry Manor. It's full of ghosts, legends, creaky old mansions and fog on the moors. Spooky!
New Year's Eve: The perfect way to make ringing in the new year special. For dressy black tie affairs, pick one of our suitable dress up themes. Suggestion: Ring in the year your theme is set in. For example: Celebrate new year 1932 for our gangster theme at the Velvet Room Speakeasy. Your guests will love it!
